Reaching my DREAM...

When I was in college I always wish to be a part of Red Cross. Kaso onting time and hindi pa ko pinayagan nila mommy at ninang nini. Sabi nila "focus first on your studies". Then after awhile I forgot all about it. I focused on taking my board exam.. Which obviously a BIG failure.

But at the back of my mind I know it's still there. Because sometimes I can see myself having a medical mission on depressed areas. Lending help on far away barrios. A missionary. A rescuer. Yung tipong one call and I'll be there. Kaso kasi yung mga kakilala ko na nagmemedical mission sa malayo puro RN. And I'm not one of them. So.. Nakalimutan ko na naman sya.
I continue with my life. Party dito. Gala doon. Travel dito. Tambay doon. At my age I never thought na magkakachance pa ko na mangyayari o matutupad yung dream ko.

Pero siguro nga.. It's better to be late than sorry. LOL! One day.. I had the chance to met a kind and awesome rescuers (Ehem!). The MEYCAUAYAN RESCUE UNIT. They gave us training for first aid and basic life support. And after that we get along well. We became friends. Andami na nila naishare smen. Experiences. Jokes. Advices. Minsan pati personal story of life. Hehe! Minsan sumasabit kami sa station nila o kaya tumatambay sa office nila. Kaso complicated makipagclose sakanila kasi most of them are married and super selosa daw ng wives nila. Haha! I think it's normal. :)

But.. Being close to MRU is like a sign.. Na somehow I can make my dream come true. I talked to them na gusto namin magvolunteer ni Cielo. Sabi nila we need to submit letters and resumè to make it official. Nararamdaman ko.. Konti nalang. Sana.. :)

I always pray to Him na sana eto na yung chance na matagal ko ng iniintay. I really really want to be a part of their team. I'm still hoping that.. One day it will be OFFICIAL. :)

THANK YOU SO MUCH Meycauayan Rescue Unit. Kasi mabait kayo. Kasi tinanggap nyo yung friendship namin.. Kasi pinapayagan nyo kami umepal sainyo. And I'm looking forward po na makasama sa bawat rescue nyo. :) I'm so lucky that I've met you.
